2019 Scholarship Winners

Each year the Dance Attic staff chooses dancers to receive a scholarship award.  This award goes to dancers who work hard and always have a positive attitude.  They are also respectful and encouraging to others.  The scholarship award winners receive half price tuition for the year and a solo to perform at competition and recital.  The Dance Attic would like to congratulate this year’s award winners, KZ Koffa, Macy Lowery, and Heather Hoy.  All are amazing dancers as well as good role models for all our younger dancers.  We are looking forward to seeing them learn and grow this year!

2019-20 Fall Schedule

Company Info 4/29

We will be having an informative meeting for all of those who are interested in auditioning for our 2019-2020 Company.  It will be Monday, April 29th at 6:30 pm.  Come and see what our company is all about!

Bring a Friend May 20-23

We will be having our Spring Bring a Friend Week May 20-23.  All dancers are encouraged to invite your friends to come and try out a class.   You will receive $15 off of your September tuition for each friend that you bring that registers for classes!  For example, if you bring two friends and they both register, you will get $30 off of your September tuition!  Go ahead and start thinking about who you would like to bring!

Bring a Friend week is a great time to try out a class to see what our studio is like.  If you would like to try a class, but do not know any dancers, you can just send an email and we will let you know a good time to come.  Wear comfortable clothes and bring the form below.  We look forward to meeting you!

Recital Rehearsal June 3-7

The week before the recital we will do a full run through of each show in our regular dance clothes at the studio.   You will not come to your regular classes that week, only the specified day for your show.  On Friday, June 7th we will have a full dress rehearsal (costume, hair, make-up) at Wakefield High School.  You should arrive for this rehearsal ready for the stage in your first costume.  All other costumes should be packed in a basket or bin in the order that they are needed.  Younger dancers will be assigned an older dancer to help them dress at the rehearsal and recital.  For both of these rehearsals, you may leave as soon as you are finished with all of your dances.  We will discuss these rehearsals at  a parent meeting in May as well.  Click here for a recital guide that will help answer your questions.  Please read the following very carefully for your dates and times!  The schedule for the week is as follows:
